چکیده
Anaerobic digestion is one of the most widely used treatment methods for animal manure. Chicken manure has high methane production potential and thus a suitable substrate biogas plants. However, nitrogen content inhibits metabolism anaerobic microorganisms hinders from chicken Enhancing performance indeed long-standing challenge. This review presents new insights into maintaining methanogens’ activities, decomposition acetate, dynamics methanogenic pathways under ammonia stress. also analyzed possible strategies alleviating inhibition effects, including supplementing trace elements, co-digestion with nitrogen-less materials, in-situ removal, long adaptation consortia to The obtained in this paper may provide helpful information better understanding technology other nitrogen-rich waste wastewater.

Relating Anaerobic Digestion Microbial Community and Process Function.
Anaerobic digestion (AD) involves a consortium of microorganisms that convert substrates into biogas containing methane for renewable energy. The technology has suffered from the perception of being periodically unstable due to limited understanding of the relationship between microbial community structure and function. The emphasis of this review is to describe microbial communities in digeste...
متن کاملMicrobial Community Analysis of the Anaerobic Digestion Process and the Early Stage of Composting of Pig Manure Using PCR-DGGE
This study was conducted to investigate microbial community changes during the field-scale composting of the anaerobic digested pig manure sludge. Samples were obtained from an influent tank (Inf.) and anaerobic digestion tank (A. d.) of pig manure slurry, and the early stage of compost depot (Com. 1 and Com. 2). Input of the compost process was produced by the solid-liquid separation process o...
متن کاملCharacterization of microbial community structure during continuous anaerobic digestion of straw and cow manure
Responses of bacterial and archaeal communities to the addition of straw during anaerobic digestion of manure at different temperatures (37°C, 44°C and 52°C) were investigated using five laboratory-scale semi-continuous stirred tank reactors. The results revealed that including straw as co-substrate decreased the species richness for bacteria, whereas increasing the operating temperature decrea...
متن کاملEffect of Physical and Chemical Operating Parameters on Anaerobic Digestion of Manure and Biogas Production: A Review
Introduction: The need for food produced from animal husbandry has made it a growing industry which result in increment of livestock waste. On the basis of environmental and economic considerations, these materials require treatment and management. Anaerobic digestion and creation of biogas are the most effective methods of waste management. Several parameters affect the anaerobic digestion of ...
متن کاملA Review of Process Limitations and Microbial Community in Anaerobic Digestion of Fat, Oil, and Grease (Fog)
Organic wastes, such as fats, oils, and grease (FOG), are good substrates for biogas production because of their high methane yield potential. FOG are hydrolyzed to glycerol and long-chain fatty acids(LCFA), and the degradation of LCFA takes place through the β-oxidation pathway which has been reported as the rate-limiting step of the whole anaerobic digestion process. This paper reviews the sc...
